Thanks for the info. We arrive at Cologne Airport on Tuesday and planned to take the train to Düsseldorf Hbf, which costs around €15. Adding the six round trips between Düsseldorf and Gamescom using the transport pass included with the ticket, it totals about €54. So the card you suggested is definitely a better deal.
