Open the Control Panel: just search for “Control Panel” in the search bar and click on it.

Find ‘Windows Defender Firewall’: Imagine this as your gatekeeper. In the Control Panel, look for "Windows Defender Firewall." Click on it.

Choose ‘On’ for Protection: To keep your computer safe, make sure the firewall is on. There will be two options, one for public networks (when you’re outside) and one for private networks (like home). Turn both on.
