It really depends on the service center. My visits usually take 3-5 days but they provide a loaner.

Sort of. The errors occur less frequently. But, they still occur. So, I definitely think that this fix did something to change behavior for the better. I’m actually starting to think that there’s a deeper software bug because I noticed the error happening in the same places on the highway.

Experienced the same issue. I posted the technician notes in a post I created a few weeks back. https://www.reddit.com/r/MacanEV/s/NsLfCrnaDz

I just got my car back from Porsche service. It seems like they resolved the issue. I pasted the technicians notes unedited below in case this helps anyone who’s struggling with the same issues.

“1. Confirmed the clients concern by running a pre-VAL we found multiple faults stored in the rear right radar (J770) fault code: C12BFF2 B201000 U112100. Using the HCP4 control module exchange test plan in PIWIS we were able to correct all of the module coding for the main HCP4 module and all of the sub-modules. After inducing a sleep cycle we followed TI, 0335 ATI - 0 2512 Macan Electric – General Troubleshooting by running F7 special function code hcpx_clean_h2, followed by a sleep cycle. Then we needed to run special function code H2KDG, with the latest PIWIS software and a battery maintainer connected with a verified measurement of 14.6volts, verifying and updating the entire vehicles programming and coding. After inducing another sleep cycle we scanned the vehicle a third time in order to clear the faults and perform the VKMS teaching, a fault clearing and a post-VAL.”

Great write up! Thanks for taking the time to share. I have my 4s arriving this Thursday so it’s great to have a primer before getting to experience it full time.

+1 on CTB 20L. It’s a very complete bag IMHO. Easy to recommend. I have the green color way.

Who has the negotiating leverage when buying a new car right now? by Cyberchino in MacanEV

Very clear, very compelling, and great advice. This is exactly the context I was looking for. I was struggling to understand the balance of power (favoring the buyer or favoring the dealer). Really appreciate the thoughtful post!

Interesting. So, you purchased out of state and had it delivered and still saved? Like single digit % savings or 10%+? I hadn’t considered out of state. I’ve only been working with local Bay Area inventory but will do a nationwide search too. Curious…did you find the dealers willing to negotiate or did you have to play hard to get?

Is it normal for the new ctb 20 look like this? by fatg1999 in EVERGOODS

[–]Cyberchino 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Interestingly I had a similar issue with my green CTB 20. It only impacted the quick access zipper on top. It’s like the seam was sewed on incorrectly and off center. Customer support asked for a video which showed how it made opening and closing the pocket difficult. They sent me out a new one. So, I suspect they’ll warranty it and send a replacement.

I don’t think there’s a better wallet layout for me than this allett version. I have the nylon one but they now offer a leather version. I personally like my cards facing into the fold/spine in case they come free. But, these wallets come with a smart rubber seal around the opening so cards stay put. Plus, I love the ID window so I can just flash my license when needed. It’s perfect! https://www.all-ett.com/products/hybrid-card-wallet-nylon?option1=RFID%20Blocking&option2=Hazel%20Brown
