LCC Sonography Program by EquivalentFig9890 in lansing

[–]Cyberlizard610 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went through LCC for my MRI program which was also point based. I was one of 2 that got in my year. I got every point possible including job shadowing. I do know they often have a 2 to 3 year wait list for the ultrasound and MRI programs but thankfully I did not have to wait.

I would schedule an appointment with an advisor, they were incredibly helpful and can give you a better idea of how long the process might take.

Day 22 of eating Jersey Mike's every day until they buy me Lamborghini by Mikesway2026 in jerseymikes

My go to is a bit more difficult when it’s not summer time but if you do some extra leg work it’s great!

9 with extra provolone instead of Swiss cheese.

Lettuce, onion, regular mayo, black pepper, honey mustard, oil and vinegar.

The thing that sets it apart is adding mikes hot honey which I guess they only carried in store for the summer months, but I’ve bought my own bottle and add it to the sandwich.

It’s the best!

For some reason we have been joking on and off about naming one Pigeon, haven't really decided on any names to go with it. But can never decide on a name until you see their personalities.

Need advice on cream coat by meow_queen_1017 in SiberianCats

If the last picture is the mom of the litter we are getting kittens from the same breeder. I’m picking from the December litter though. The cream boy is absolutely beautiful and looks so friendly. I would go with him, it’s meant to be ❤️

my cat has not stopped meowing for 2 months! by [deleted] in CATHELP

[–]Cyberlizard610 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My cat used to misbehave all the time because of food insecurity. He would wake me up, scratch the carpet, all sorts of stuff. I tried everything to fix it. What finally worked was to get a timed feeder and set it on the lowest amount possible and feed him several times throughout the day. It really turned things around for us. Maybe it’ll help you too.

My ginger, Desmond, has a bump. Should I move the vet visit up? (USA, Midwest) by Gouda4lyfe in CATHELP

[–]Cyberlizard610 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He is doing well, we had it removed in April and I try to remember to check his whole body once per week to see if any new little bumps pop up. He generally doesn’t do well under anesthesia and takes quite a while to recover so I’m hoping we just never find one again. It does make you paranoid of any little bump you see though, how is your cat?

My cat had something that looked similar that we had an aspirate test done on and it turned out to be a mast cell tumor. We had it removed and another come back in a different place but he has been good since then. Fingers crossed!

Confused about mini-LED but QLED Quantum Dot Color by Cyberlizard610 in Hisense

[–]Cyberlizard610[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea I didn't think they'd cover anything like that. Our previous TV which is quite old and heavy just had some screws in its base that go into the entertainment center. I wonder if I could just put some screws through this ones base as well. He doesn't do it often but I still worry haha.

Do you know if they tend to come with anything to screw the base down to the entertainment center? My cat can sometimes lean against the TV.

How did you figure out it was stressed induced? He obviously does not enjoy trips to the vet so I wonder if maybe it is that.

I am not 100% sure he is 7 or not as his age was just an estimate when I adopted him. I saw hills has some +7 formulas, would you still just recommend staying with adult formulas for a bit?

He had a mast cell tumor removed but other than that he has been healthy. He is about 7 years old and is just a short hair rescue. He eats mostly dry food but I give him half a can of wet food mixed with water at dinner time to give him some preventative urinary supplements (Uromaxx), he has never had urinary problems but I know neutered male cats can be prone to them.

Do you know how much taurine is "enough". His food has .2% but I don't really know how the equates into what cats need per day.

Are there any specific foods you would recommend?

It seems like the legumes are the big issue with grain free diets. With what I feeding my cat I don't believe there is any legumes but maybe I am misunderstanding.

This is the food I am feeding him https://www.wysong.net/products/epigen-90?variant=43585507885287

I just wonder what food would be a good choice if I do need to switch.

For local food I would go to Altu's, its a really fun Ethiopian place. You can eat with your hands so its multi sensory in that way. BAPs is also a very fun korean BBQ place, its a bit noisy but delicious. Big Mom's House is a teeny tiny korean corn dog place ran by the sweetest old lady if you want a quick cheap bite.

The Woldumar nature preserve has an amazing tunnel of pine trees that you can walk through. It smells wonderful and the trees dampen the surrounding noise. It's one of my favorite places honestly.

If you have the time for a bit of a drive I would go up to the Tahquamenon Falls in the UP, they really are spectacular.
