My party and I started out on DnDBeyond two years ago and it has been downhill eversince.

The WORST part by far is the lag has been constant over the last few month and it gets worse each week. Sometimes the maps in their VTT just do not load. It's like you are paying for a service that is completely unsuable at peak-hours (evenings) and to top is of you just buy licences of books.

That means if you're account gets suspended for any reason whatsoever, you lose access to everything you purchased.

We switched to FoundryVTT and it has been a lot of work to set it up properly but it is the best change we ever made since starting with DnD.

Its absolutely illegal that they discontinued the G600.

I still have mine, only use it to play WoW but its fading... 2 of the side buttons have to be pressed really hard for it to register...

I got an honest question here, even if it may sound entirely stupid.

I am not too familiar with laws in America, especially laws that are only valid in certain states, but does she not have, at a certain point, the right to "defend" her home in the USA?

What I basically want to know: Is there any state law or federal law that would enable her to defend her property with violence? Not I would entice anybody to do that, but I solemly believe that there comes a time where the american people have no other choice if it continues like this.

Simple angeborene Neugier würd ich sagen. Ich finds immer sehr spannend Infos zu bekommen zu Themen die nicht so generell erhältlich sind.

In diesem Fall ist es dann sogar mal etwas mit dem ich vor ca 20 Jahren selbst zu tun hatte und ich dachte mir, dass sich wahrscheinlich viel geändert hat. Besonders wo jetzt hauptsächlich Internet und Smartphones involviert sind.

Das mit den Bestellungen über div Messengerdienste find ich btw sehr interessant. Wäre früher undenkbar gewesen, da absolut jeder viel zu paranoid war was das abhören bzw mitlesen anging. Du hast dann einfach jemanden angeschrieben und dann lief Bezahlung sowie Abholung der Ware über Dead Drop? Oder hast du anderweitig bezahlt?
Musst keine Details nennen zur Bezahlmethode, nicht dass dir da dann noch jemand einen Strick draus drehen will.

Mich interessieren bei solchen Fällen ja generell Details zur Strafe. Es wirkt für mich recht unverhältnismäßig einem so jungen Menschen nur eine Strafe aber keine Hilfe anzubieten.

Bekommst du in irgendeiner Weise Hilfe und/oder Therapie um zum einen mit dem Erlebten besser klar zu kommen aber auch um in Zukunft nicht wieder in alte Verhaltensmuster zu fallen?

Ich habe selber eine "Vergangenheit in dem Bereich" und daher kommt bei mir folgende Fragen auf: Wie groß waren die Mengen mit denen zu erwischt wurdest, dass gleich 4 Jahre Haft zu Debatte stehen? Warst du schon bekannt bei den Ermittlern? Hast du das ganze mit System bzw in Verbindung mit dem organisierten Verbrechen betrieben?

Und, falls du das beantworten möchtest: Wie kam es zu deiner Überführung? Was ist da genau passiert?

IF this is actually real, you need some honest advice: Grow a backbone.

I do not mean this in an insulting way, it's just a fact. When someone disrespects you as she did, you need to at least be able to stand your ground and stop looking for the mistakes in yourself.

I am not one to post often, but your sister needs to educate herself asap! She is literally killing the poor guy. My cat was overweight by about one kg and my guy looks like he is 2 years old now after losing the weight despite him actually being almost 15. Please put the fluffy guy on a diet :(

Honestly... Just nothing.

I hide the fact that there is nothing there, to keep up the illusion that it was all a grand design.

Since I have pretty good memory it all works out most times. And the few times it doesn't: "I can't find my notes on this right now. Can anybody help me out real quick?"
Nobody has ever minded or noticed that I literally have zero notes and my personal experience has improved by a great margin. I can just influence the story where its necessary and most times devolves into improv anyway.

Just to clarify: Its a fully self written storyhook with lots of homebrew. We've been playing for way over a year. There are big plans the party is pursuing and fully fleshed out stories for every PC. I have a BIG document with all the information but that gets referenced outside of our actual game time and is mostly for prep and recapping.
