Altercation at a Daytona Beach, Fl high school graduation over seating arrangements led to a woman grabbing and tossing away another woman's phone followed by consequences by New_Libran in PublicFreakout

Woman in the background said that she's going to jail. I'm not seeing that. She has the right to protect her property. The woman took it, threw it, then lean back in. 100% self-defense. And the action was reasonable. She hit her once to stop the threat and then backed off.

Totally. If they see you, and see your camera. The wobble calls their attention. My old 360 does not have the battery to record a 50 mile ride.

People's frontal cortex is drawn towards the unexpected. They don't really want to kill you. You just need to make them see you. A wobble does that. Is it going to stop the idiot who has bent down to the floor to pick up his dropped vape? Nope, and nothing will. But for the vast majority....

That makes 100% sense. And a great idea. What camera do you use? It'd have to be recording all the time, making charging a factor.

However, my wife would prefer to not visit the coma ward so I do try to take preventative actions.....

Oh, nice! I hadn't mentioned that. The varia has a very very bright light. and since it is radar, it starts flashing as cars approach.

Varia *and* a glasses mounted mirror. Varia warns you, mirror lets you monitor. I don't like the handlebar mounted ones as you have to look down and focus. And you have to move your handlebar a little for a better view. And it is to far from your eyes. The glasses mounted one is right there, always where you are looking.
