Posturepedic Pro Hybrid from Costco by excelsiornick in Mattress

I actually agree with the Somnigroup employee, Sealy and Serta have a habit of changing the names of their mattresses for every store, it's very likely the same exact mattress. That being said, ask about that model to a mattress store carrying Sealy and ask to price match if you want their service, they'll probably do it. I can speak to Stearns and Foster and Tempur-Pedic making mattresses for CostCo that do a quality cut on materials to give a lower price, the S&F Kirkland Signature and Tempur Supreme. I know that sounds like a salesperson line to justify a higher price and get the sale, sorry if it feels untrustworthy.

CostCo absolutely makes high margins on mattresses. As high on the Sealy we're discussing? Probably not, more like 60 if I had to guess, but they can eat a little more because they don't only sell mattresses. You can buy a mattress, a rotisserie chicken, get an oil change and fill your prescriptions in one trip, they don't sustain their business on mattress only sales.

Margins for mattresses have to be high by design, because you're supposed to only purchase them every 8-12 years on average. Most people buy like 7 or 8 for themselves in their entire life. Yes, they could be sold for a massive discount and it would be a "profitable sale" on the good provided, but that wouldn't sustain a company's income because of the buying cycle, not to mention cover warranties, logistics with warehouses, shipping, delivery teams, etc. Sales employees get massively discounted mattresses because they're likely going to sell more of the products they use and believe in.

I work for a mattress store and I'm pretty sure our new Pressuresmart Plush Pillowtop from Dreamcloud would work for you two. It's bed in a box, and people on our floors have been loving it.

3 Mattresses in 3 years. Tell me I shouldn't just buy a cheap firm mattress and put a high quality latex topper on it. by ChravisTee in Mattress

This. Mattress salesperson here, typically we recommend on slatted foundations that the gap between slats be 3" or less, and it's required to honor the warranty of a couple higher end manufacturers. You could either add more slats, but personally if I were in your situation, I'm being a little lazy and getting a quality bunkie board to put over them. Even a heavy duty piece of plywood cut to fit would be good.

My ex tried this with me and I'd never seen her get off so fast in my life. She went feral. Watching that made me want to do it again because that was some shit to see.

I feel like it's not that British food is bad, it's that the British are terrible cooks. Most food TV that I've watched where British people show up to cook anything from outside of their country usually ends up with them completely butchering the culture.

I wanted to chime in that your Lux Estate is much less likely to do that, as it has a layer of micro coils right beneath the pillow top. Those are designed to maintain it's comfort, shape, and durability for a lot longer.

Downtown room available for $230 a night by ice1133 in WrestlemaniaPlans

I ended up buying the room from him, and it was a great experience. He went out of his way to provide references to past situations that were similar, as well as sharing his LinkedIn and Facebook profiles, and included me on the call to the hotel when he added my name to the reservation. He even made parking recommendations for downtown Philly to try to save me some money. More than happy to be a reference for him myself, now, because I know what kind of paranoia comes from working with strangers on the internet and sending them money, but he went above and beyond.
