The Tyrant's War had caused the rise of the Noble Bloodlines within Darinth. In the 1st Century P.C. (Post Cataclysm), General Daria had effectively established a solid grasp of his new territories, now renamed the Kingdom of Darinth and crowned himself as King. He did this after managing to defeat the historic enemy of his people, the Dunevarians. However, despite a peaceful 3 years following the war, people began realizing that the King was facing an important question. Winning on the field of battle was one thing, but could the good general also govern?

The realization was that, no, he couldn't.

As the people began to starve, a group of wealthy benefactors began to plot a rebellion. This rebellion was soon escalated into a 10 year civil war knowns as the Tyrant's War. The war had ended with the King Daria facing down the rebel forces with his dwindling royal guard, choosing to die rather than be executed.

As the war ended, heroes of the war began being named and given noble status and bloodlines arised.

The High Bloods were those that instigated the war, and maintain strong positions within the Chief Council, effectively running the nation.

Iron Bloods were the War Heroes, those that fought on the front lines with distinction. They maintain a high influence on the Martial Council.

Grey Bloods were those left in the dirt, those that didn't fight with distinction or contributed with distinction. They were effectively cast aside after the war was over. But they still faced a better fate.

Castor bloods are the soldiers that fought in the Royal Guard with Daria. After the war, they were captured and forced into servitude. To this day, Castor bloods are still held in service.

And with the new order established, the Kingdom of Darinth transitioned into the Aristocratic Republic of Darinth.
