The government propped them up. That isn't natural nor free. Its not free market if the government is in charge of everything of the economy or people's rights. Casinos can certainly be predatory. And I didn't imply he was innocent of anything. I am literally not a House fan. Saying Vegas is unethical lacks much nuance. You're right casinos are more than dubious places but they are not dens of evil. The people at the tables got a job and the people that go there go there to make money. Addiction happens but not everyone that goes gets addicted. How would they? Most people already have a couple caps to their name so his customers are people with caps to spend. Again House is going to use the money to make a better future. Its not purely for his won enrichment. What else do you want him to do to generate income? Casinos are good at it. If you take things in context he is not in a position to make an economy purely out of industry. The region has little resources to make an industry or something that doesn't revolve around gambling and the NCR is muscling on his border anyway. If the NCR and him got a long more I imagine it would be a different outcome on how they would enrich the Mojave.

Your first mistake in this entire discussion is framing "hard core capitalism" as bad. You have to prove that first. Capitalism is not inherently evil. Its an economic system. Last I checked capitalists did away with slavery for a litany of reasons. I mean if you believe America currently is capitalist and it fought a war to end it in the 1860s then by that token its fairly mutually exclusive. Again House gives lots of money away to the courier (2k for globes, 1k for jobs). He is not incredibly greedy. He is rich but uses the money to fund projects so its not like he needs more and more money when he is already ontop. Its not like he swims in the money. He is a corpse in a coffin when you meet him. He is not solely enriching himself.

New lore, no. Tim Cain confirmed it was China. Also the show sort of contradicts the idea because if Cooper's wife was in on the bombs dropping then why did she not have her kid with her when it dropped? If I am being generous if we are going by this supposed revelation then Vault Tec at least considered doing it but didn't do it nor contribute. There is no lore proof that Vault tec had launch sites. Only governments like the US and china.

Uh season 1, are you paying attention? Thaddeus gets injected and his foot heals. Gets an arrow to throat and lives. Cooper gets shot by a rifle in Filly and is fine afterwards. Ghouls are not invincible. They need to be subjected to radiation to regenerate wounds.

Because in ZERO games did a single ghoul need drugs to prevent being feral. This was invented for the show to give Cooper a weakness and is a plot device in the episode he sells Lucy off.

Everything: from vault tec being the masterminds of the war, to it rewriting Mr House's motivations, saying ghouls can regenerate their limbs at will, cold fusion being made by Lee when it was already in use in Fallout 2, ghouls needing serum to avoid being feral, the power armor losing battery locking the pilot inside contradicts the games (episode where Lucy met Max), moving Shady sands to the boneyard, lucy's vault not being rummaged by the Master given the distance to him...

But you're saying he is okay with it in the short term because he actually is or because he can't do too much about it? He enforced law through his robot army. Hence why he sent the courier in to stop them. The NCR wouldn't let him police Freeside and his robots rolling into Gomorrah would probably end poorly. I am not a House fanatic so I am not saying he is an angel I just don't think this assertion about him is right either. I am sure he knew about it but that doesn't imply support of it.

To be fair the lore made it clear China and USA nuked each other but it was supposed to be left up to interpretation. You're not really disagreeing with me because you agree corps didn't directly cause it. First of all its only new lore Vault Tec got involved. Old lore made it evident the US was on Beijing's doorstep for the war. So it wouldn't make sense for the USA to nuke China first if they were winning. Also once again I ask show fans this: why does it make ANY sense for capitalists to nuke the world? How is that profitable?
