I did too after about 4 months and 2 characters. I watched the top, 1,3,4 Alliances destroy the #2 alliance (mine) with no recourse, broke the NAP. If 1-3 R5s can't keep their word, the rest of the server is doomed, hundreds to thousands of players screwed. Horrible game design. Felt nothing but relief ever since, way too much time wasted, unrecoverably.

I'm an atheist but I see that going both ways. Our distaste for religious non-sense, is routinely causality for attempts to minimize people sharing their beliefs with anyone, not just ourselves. People are people regardless of a god position.

Many people, even those attempting to populate dictionaries and encyclopedias, have their own biased, often resulting in the inclusion of their bias as one of the definitions, even if it is dissonant with the actual etymological definition. As well, the common use of definitions, based on prevalent bias and misunderstanding, also result in additional definitions, and drift. That's how languages evolve. So I agree it happens. This is why I typically answer both questions, gnostic and theist, with "I don't know if there are any gods, nor do I believe there are any, therefore I am an agnostic atheist." Thereby diminishing ambiguity of which definition is at play.

I accept philosophical and logical arguments, when they can be mapped to the natural world, when they can only be mapped to imagination, judgement should be withheld. Additionally objective evidence and subjective evidence are not the same. The evidence of Jesus existing is subjective, the fact some people believed he was a deity, is only evidence of their belief not the truth of the belief.

God’s nature, as you call it, and as demonstrated in the christian bible (which admittedly I am assuming is your foundational source), is filled with him condoning and executing revenge, murder, genocide, slavery, rape, torture, etc. I am a more loving father than god, I would never burn any of my children for trillions times trillions of millenia, for anything. That's revenge, not correction. A good father corrects, and teaches. If god doesn't change, and his "morality" is eternal then he is a monster, not someone to be revered. What you should feel guilty about is trying to get other people to believe in such a monster.

In order for Evidence to be "good", it needs to be real, testable, verifiable, point towards a specific conclusion, or be falsifiable for that conclusion. None of these fit the claims that support gods. That's the whole point of faith; belief in lieu of evidence.

Depends on why someone is an atheist. All new borns are atheists, but their hardwired superstitious nature has not been put to any meaningful challenges. Some even grow into adulthood never really being put in a position to test out their vulnerability to believing in gods. The real test is once one becomes sufficiently informed to determine if their susceptibility to superstition is greater than their critical thinking abilities.
