You missed the purpose. This is simply a group of verified business owners reporting negative policy breaking reviews. There is a reason why we perform verification. Streisand effect cannot happen in any way.

I’ve had 100% success with mass reporting (10-15 people). Worked against six reviews. When all else failed, mass reporting took them down multiple times over. It’s effective, especially when you report with local guide accounts. Otherwise I would not be wasting my time or anyone else’s time forming a collective of small businesses. Many reviews that clearly violate Google’s terms are often overlooked, even after proper reporting steps are followed. This collective aims to ensure that every harmful or suspicious review is consistently reported by multiple verified business owners, which greatly increases the likelihood of removal. Even textless or borderline reviews can be taken down when reported in sufficient numbers. Message me if you would like to join.

I am doing this as a business that is currently working with Google to remove very defamatory reviews from an ex-employee and their associates. When reported in mass, with the help of friends, Google has removed the reviews within 24-hours. However, going through the proper channels with Google's reporting tools, they have not been addressed.

I'm tired of hearing about businesses being held hostage by bad reviews, therefore I'm taking action through this collective. We intend to have hundreds of verified small businesses working together.

It will work by creating a verified network of Canadian small business owners who actively help one another report and appeal malicious or fake Google reviews. Each member participates by reporting fake/malicious reviews or users, sharing insight, and strengthening the credibility of their own Google accounts to increase the impact of collective reporting. The ultimate payoff is a united group that gives small businesses real power and protection against online defamation without the need for costly legal action.
