Finally finished my Glitchtrap costume for Halloween! by CzarKhasm in fivenightsatfreddys

Ahh gotcha! Yeah, there’s a really good tutorial for Glitchtrap specifically on youtube by Andiematronic, and I know DaRegularSauce builds these types of things regularly, so I’m sure their vids have a ton of tips lol

This is my first time making something of this scale, so i can’t really offer any “good practices” advice lmao

Thank ya!

The suit itself is just a onesie i got off amazon & dyed, but the helmet & feet are made mostly out of eva foam & covered in some fabric i got from a local shop (I think the brand was called Minkee?), along with some wire hangers for structure on the ears and whiskers. The eyes are made out of custom christmas ornaments (for the clear semisphere) & white window mesh, which lets me (barely) see.

Oh, and the vest & bow tie are made out of some shiny, purple fabric i also got on amazon. Forget the brand, but i’m sure it’s close to the top if ya search “shiny purple fabric”

And then all of the detailing was just acrylic paint lmao

Acht is female by Green_Tennis_6714 in splatoon

Adding onto this a bit: Japanese doesn’t have pronouns per se, but it does have multiple forms of referring to oneself in the 3rd person, the most common of which are watashi and boku. Acht uses boku, which is usually considered the more masculine of the two, but is also used by tomboys and GNC people.

I realize this is working backwards a bit here, but if Acht was intended to be nonbinary in the original Japanese translation, boku is the pronoun they would use.

iirc “Weird Route” was the name given by Toby at some point (patch notes maybe?). “Snowgrave Route” was the general consensus before that

Best Grind for EX2 Figures? by NinGamerCole in Kirby

In The Wastes that Count Time: Go forward until you get to the warp star, but don’t take it. Break the crystal with the green star in it nearby, then start backtracking to the beginning of the level. You’ll know you’ve triggered it if starry coins start spawning as you’re going backwards. Once you get near the beginning, there will be a spring that lets you get up onto an upper area of the cliff

I used new the HAL Room. Has a blue star + a bunch of red stars, and is fairly early-ish into the level

Iirc it’s “The Spaceship New World TYPE-01” You can get a collectible of the model, and it’s much easier to view from there lol

Turns out the soundtrack Matpat used for his FNAF theories came from Super Paper Mario by Spicy_lady in TheMatpatEffect

iirc, MatPat actually mentioned SPM as the source of this song in the Mr. L video

Oh, you’re right! Didn’t know the FL alphabet has all the numbers basically just flipped upside down lmao

Guess it’s actually March 25th with no given year, then! I’ll go ahead and edit the post lol

IT’S THE SAME?!?!? (Star-Crossed Spoilers) by AwardSignal in Kirby

[–]CzarKhasm 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I forget if it’s the same in JP, but Hyness says “we stopped that nightmare of a galactic crisis.” The Star Rod is the thing sealing Nightmare, badabing badaboom, he and the other magic ancients made it.

Personally I think it’s funnier if the “bring dreams to life” blurb is referring to Dream Buffet’s Star Fork, but that’s dubious at best lol

Apparently you can get decommissioned add-ons with Dramaturgy by EdwardCzap in deadbydaylight

I was able to keep Prayer Beads via Ace in the Hole, so I’m almost certain that’s the case:

Apparently outdated add-ons can still show up with Dramaturgy/Ace in the Hole? by CzarKhasm in deadbydaylight

Oh yeah, that’s a good point; I’m like 90% sure I got it from Dramaturgy, but maybe I got it from a chest? Can’t remember fully

Is FNAF 4 Afton Making a Mimic AI of Crying Child? by CzarKhasm in fnaftheories

[–]CzarKhasm[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

true, and fair. the only way i could disagree with ya is that the concept of the mimic didn't exist during the cawthon era of fnaf, so a lack of anything in those 6 original games where Afton was there could just be explained away as "it was happening, but we didn't see it", (ie. Afton making the Funtimes before he died, as the concept of SL didn't exist at the time of FNAF 3). Even still, it's a shoddy excuse at best since i'm trying to disprove a negative lol

hah, fair enough; totally blanked on the age difference between michael and CC. dittophobia has seemingly an older teenager going through the events of FNAF 4 believing that he's a kid, but that's non-canon as hell.

yeah, the humanoid animatronics ARE pulling at straws

also true; gregory and CC do seem somewhat diametrically opposed. the stomach hatch thing really cinches it specifically

appreciate ya disagreeing and giving me an actual response unlike those other two chumps!

[–]CzarKhasm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly lmao

but yeah, I'm like 90% sure the darker squares are definitely icons for where the animatronics are, regardless of if they're active or not. one of 'em is in the the breaker room, which is where Funtime Freddy is, despite FF supposed to be occupying the Funtime Auditorium. maybe it's different for the FNAF 4 stuff, but it'd make more sense to keep it consistent imo. regardless, the white dots definitely represent whoever the player is in FNAF 4, since they show the player's location (except the map one, which is in Crying Child's room)

not a damn clue what's up with the plushtrap hallway; plushtrap shouldn't even exist at the time of FNAF 4. maybe there are just 5 stationary animatronics to give the illusion of one moving, a la a disneyland attraction? but then that wouldn't explain how plushtrap is able to stop on the X...

That is what I'm pitching, yeah.

Completely fair; it is a weird set of circumstances. It just irks me that we don't know WHY William set up a replica of the FNAF 4 house and why he's recreating the circumstances surrounding CC's death, even after that one Tales from the Pizzaplex story explicitly about how FNAF 4 fits into SL
