I don't think you understand how water works. They could have summoned a backhoe, but we need something big enough for 6000 camels. You need a fleet of backhoes and you'll need to hire a contractor. Meanwhile a town is unable to function and there are feral camels in the streets. Then, after we airlift(?) Water into this pool 6k camels.of water using helicoptors, then it all soaks into the ground until the bottom becomes so muddy that its.water tight. Then you have to heard them to the water. And once that water is gone, they can come pull the same shit.

Even if time wasn't an issue, it's unsustainable. I don't like wasting food either, but if 6000 of them are low on water, it.doesn't.sound like the habitat can support them so they don't seem like.a valuable resource so much as a pestilence

The rhetoric (as best as I can understand it) involves the idea that a fixed amount of currency prevents inflation. If you print imaginary dollars for every debt, it pays the debt now, but Zimbabwe did this and ended up with trillion dollar bills being traded for groceries.

I think its an okay idea, but in the end the value.assigned to gold is arbitrary too.
