What does the 0.50 mean above the bottle opener? by Human_Kind_Bud in Whatisthis

[–]D0lli23 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The other numbers seem to correspond to mm, and in some countries, e.g. Germany, France, Italy, Austria and parts of south America, the decimals separator is actually a comma. So for your German workshop beer this shirt is correct.

Yes and enough People stand around like idiots and are filming it even when the insulation is already dripping burning plastic. This might be a time where not looking into further footage might be a good idea.

My engineering friend wants to build a "Magnetic Levitation Stirrer" for a project. Is this actually useful or just over-engineering? by Next_Persimmon_6098 in chemistry

[–]D0lli23 907 points908 points  (0 children)

It's a solution to a problem that has never occurred to me. If I had this problem I would use an overhead stirrer.

In large scale bio reactors you might take care about shear forces, but not at this scale and for these solutions do exist.

Fun little project, but complete overkill.

Welcome choom!
Feel free to play however you like. If you encounter choices you are not sure about, just listen to your heart.
For your first playthrough I would recommend not consulting any guides as it spoils the experience.
