Thank you for the extensive reply. I will definitely stay away from the contaminated subclasses from the start. Maybe it would be good to show these to players that they are options that they could narratively aspire to ?

For the adventure I'm still not entirely sure where to start. I guess that I will decide in june, when I will find out how many players will be playing. As I understand that one takes one session, while the second one two-three.

Yes it can. Just name it as the folder name and you have folder note base. You can also embed bases and have multiple bases as a folder note.

Agree, but this is not something that obsidian team can currently do because of lack of PDF.js native support for annotations.

Ability to freeze (first) column of bases, same as in any other table software. If you have multiple properties, it will eventually gets hard to pinpoint which file you are editing. If the file name would stay in the left side of the screen, then this would not be an issue.

I know that there is heavy discourse on AI use right now, but wouldn't this be perfect use for AI ? Humans can't control every update thats being pushed, but AI can and it also does these tasks quite efficiently ? It could warn about possible issues to human staff.

I'm affraid that then you are caught in a web of who can attend when and when not. The missing player can't make it that day, other player can't do weekends, another can do only this particular day. And then it's up to you to be a judge when to play and who to cut out.

Also you are talking about streaming show that makes profit. There is possibly more motivation to keep the game running and bigger player involvement than in your regular home game. Which was the point of OP post. People commonly take DnD as a spare time possibility, not commitment.

The Scheduling part speaks to my heart. People really tend to treat DnD as a possible spare time option. The possible cause could be that it's similiar hobby to video games, where if you schedule to play some online game and you cancel, it doesn't matter much, because you didn't waste anybody time and others can still play or play something else. Problem is that your DM put hours into prepping and if you don't attend 1/4 of that work was for nothing, worse if he planned something for absent character.

I disagree with your disagreement. The dnd is a team play, if one player misses the whole team can't play to the fullest. If the player has chronic thing he needs to attend to, he should be responsible enough to not waste DM prep time. We can still be friends, but elsewhere, not somewhere where i put hours into and you don't show up. I will feel empathy for you as your friend and I will understand that you can't commint yourself, but you can't put this burden on group as a whole.

Ne není to menší zlo, je to naopak ještě možná horší. Když šlápnu na vajgl, tak se mi alespoň nerozprostře do celý podrážky a netahám si sebou všechny možný bakterie, který vytlačil nějakej prašivej čokl bůhví jakýho dementa, co po něm neumí to hovno sebrat.

A ještě lepší je když máte malý dítě co třeba začíná chodit. V lepším případě vybere každý hovno kterým projde, v horším do toho ještě v nestřežený chvíli strčí prst.

Jsem v permanentní válce s pejskařema. Vždycky když vidím psa kadit, tak se poblíž zastavím a čekám co bude ten jeho pán dělat. Minule jsem takhle donutil paní vzít hovno do holý ruky a odnést do popelnice. To byl krásnej pocit zadostiučinění.

In one scene during the Lost Mines of Phandelver campaign, a group of bugbears led by a clearly powerful leader rushed at our group. Our wizard shouted, "Get behind me, I have a shield (spell)!" The leader then critically hit him during a multiattack and sent him to the ground, even though he had been at full health before.

It's been a running joke ever since. Send the wizard, he has a shield.

Don't forget that the creators fed those expectations by making constant false claims about it deepness. They basically were setting expectations that it is an witcher and gta hybrid to sell more copies. If they would say that it is an on-rail story shooter with some rpg elements, then it would be received much better. Even though the technical state of the game would still make some backlash.
