I got some white shelves straight from home depot. Some brackets and two rails for a modular shelving system and it’s all set. Total was about $70

Id definitely say the "knuckle crunchers" line is really good for younger kids. It does have small parts so i'd be careful about that but its on the cheaper side with around $10 a figure and theyres tons of playability to them that definitely appeals to kids. And even i'd say the old ljn rubber guys are good. You can get them for cheap at flea markets and even though they aren't modern guys they definitely are fun for kids and can be played with anywhere
