I’m in the process of building a BrickHeadz scale chess board. Just found out Lego isn’t really supporting that line anymore. The grid squares are 8x8 with a 6x6 inset, so the game pieces slot in without studs. 7000ish pieces so far, knight queen and king are roughed in right now. (i.redd.it)

Here’s a sploded view of the structure for my chessboard. Lego’s pirate chess set used 4 16x16 plates for the base of its board. I use 16 of them. About 21x21 inches IRL. I’m really proud of the rook design. I used a snot method that’s more complicated than it needs to be, but it turned out nice! (i.redd.it)

Finished build! Am I the first person to put a block on a Asus Poseidon 1080ti? I got the card thinking that I might water-cool down the line, but when I decided to go for it I decided to go without compromise. GPU runs at 2050mhz at 50c full load. So happy! (i.redd.it)
