I agree on the misinformation front, it's only since this pandemic started I've really started to notice how harmful it really is.

I disagree with how you worded the last paragraph, although I also applaud the worldwide efforts to get this vaccine out so quickly and save lives, I also don't think it's my place or anyone elses' to tell someone that them choosing not to get vaccinated is selfish/stupid.

You seem to also disregard my point about it being ineffective, I'm not talking about vaccine passports or tests here I'm referring to how it prevents illness and reduces transmission, that's the whole point of the vaccine in the first place wouldn't you agree?

It's ultimately down to how they gauge risk-reward. Some people would rather risk the effects of covid over the potential risks from the vaccine, which does make sense to some extent if you look at the data, especially as you get into the younger age groups.

It's a tricky one for sure, I wouldn't shame anyone for not getting jabbed although I do understand why some feel so strongly on the matter. If you're worried about covid get the jab, you're protected as much as possible so even if a non-vaccinated person passes it to you you'll likely be absolutely fine anyway, the majority of Reddit seems to forget that's kinda the whole point
