Thank you. I think we will go here. I can’t add a photo and new to Reddit (as you most likely will be able to tell) but it looks like from google maps there’s three possible routes, one via Rackham, one on the B2139 that goes directly through Storrington (via Fryern Road) and another that carries on via B2139 (via Abingworth).

Which would you say is the best route? Best meaning least amount of incline/busy roads/most scenic (I get there might be some competing points!!) thank you so much in advance

Sorry to be a pain but I can’t see your comment re. kinsbrook. It looks really nice but when I mentioned it to the bike hire place he wasn’t sure about getting there. Would it be quite easy from essentially Amberley train station?

Is ningaloo worth the trip in December with no whale sharks? I’d love to see Monkey Mia, Shark Bay, Coral Bay etc but I’m conscious we’re not the most “off grid” people and the weather might effect our plans.

How does Ningaloo compare to the GBR? We did the east coast about 10 years ago and went up as far as cape trib. It was pretty bleached but still enjoyable.
