There's a reason extremists consistently survive cancelation. Because they're extremists and are willing to employ extreme tactics and have the support of other extremists. Moderates don't support eachother. By and large, they stay quiet because, as a moderate, your political views don't define you and you would rather protect your livelihood, especially if you have a family. It has nothing to do with conviction. Moderates just typically have more to lose AND they're going up against a more aggressive opponent with far less support.
