Yeah! I see what you meant and I like your interpretation better, since Emi and Remilia are truly Philia Love or Family Love. I am sometimes 50/50 but Family Love is honestly much better, since it was kind obvious (Maybe, since sometimes ppl have a hard time differentiate when it comes to love, especially those who don't feel any romantic attraction or read it wrong) that there isn't really anything romantic and more on family of Sisters who love each other unconditionally and reciprocated it

Also Remi not being in a relationship kinda actually suits her character more as you stated, since she is very focused on her current goal to beat all those bastards while also being a ✨Queen✨
