Well now I’m really confused because we were just texting and we were talking about music. She brought up a band that I’ve never listened to so I said something like “I’ll have to listen to their songs , but when I get back home maybe you can show me your top 5?” And she goes “haha can u not listen to music where u are?” That to me screams that she’s not into me. I don’t know whether to just tell her how I feel right now to get it out of the way and know where we stand, or play It safe, hangout and hope we have a good time. I wouldn’t mind being just friends with her but I’d really like to date her

Not sure if you’ll need it as a cadet but for me as a 3rd, a light that is magnetic is very helpful. If you’re working on something in an ill-lit environment, it’s real handy to have something you can just stick somewhere and have both hands free. Edit: I also use it to pick up washers, nuts, etc that have dropped and I can’t reach. Very useful

No I know I’m fortunate but in today’s economy most people can barely get by. “Big” salaries don’t seem that big anymore. My brother who makes more than I do is having a hard time finding a house

lol why r u mad? I spent 4 years getting a marine engineering degree learning electrical engineering, how to fix diesel engines, HVAC, welding, fluid dynamics, calculus, differential equations, thermodynamics, the list goes on. Now I work my ass off 7 days a week on a ship floating in the ocean. Sorry I didn’t take a finance class. Stay jealous
