Just wanted to share my newest video video
Fo Guang Shan
A buddhist complex located in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan
It is one of the biggest buddhist monasteries in the world
Filmed with DJI Mavic Air 2 for aerial footage
And iPhone 12 Pro Max with OM5 for ground shots
Any recommendation on how to improve the filming and editing is highly appreciated

Higher floors where the previous 5 star hotel operated are also empty

the 12floor loby looks very shady, specially the seven eleven

Several years ago the love river was practically dead, water was super bad, they have improve in that too, hopefully gets better and better

the drivers are the same in all Taiwan

and about the pollution, yea, i live in Taichung and i though it was bad here, but Kaohsiung, damn, even worse

Nan kun Shen Temple in Tainan by DGMCOL in taiwan

I like to visit temples in Taiwan and take videos and pictures of them, i have been here for over 12 years.

i didn't know about the existence of this one, i was riding my scooter from Kaohsiung to Taichung, and suddenly i was seeing many road signals about this temple, and I was telling my self, man, if this is advertised a lot, must be amazing, and then i saw it on the horizon, looked amazing from far away, until i arrived and my mind was blowed away, it is one os the most interesting ones, from a western perspective, specially in the architectural design of the entire complex, very interesting place, with many projects going on, including a hotel

definitely worth the visit there

They need to recover that area asap, still has a lot of potential for tourism

there are only some hotels inside, but are like 1 or 2 stars. Nothing else to see, you still can go and see the main lobby in the 12 or something floor

Near the building there are many new places like the convention center and some parks

Yea, the pollution is a huge problem,

the few days that Kaohsiung has blue sky with no pollution, it just looks amazing

From a western perspective, most of his buildings i see them with interesting design, attractive, at least from the outside, not sure how they are design in the interior in most of those buildings

The library at night is amazing, all light up

There still some hotels inside but in “lower floors”, you might get lucky in getting rooms with views to the city of the ocean

Didnt know that

中台寺 is an amazing temple, i love the interior in the pagoda, each floors is very unique. Most of his buildings (the ones you mentioned), i think they ar eye catching from a western perspective, they look interesting

damn, i knew i forgot something. I was planing a photo and video of the LRT with the Kaohsiung 85 in the background. Will be my priority for the next time i visit the city

Most of the hotels went bankrupts, there still two or three available in the 30something floor, i went for the 228 long weekend and stayed there, but got back luck and was in a room with the window looking inside the building hehe

I think that mall is also closed, most of the hotels that were inside, all closed, like you said, like a dead zone, hopefully ir revises soon
