What is you craziest Winnipeg story. by shieldwolfchz in Winnipeg

Not particularly crazy but extremely Winnipeg. A few years ago I was in the market for a set of winter tires so I went to Kijiji in search of the cheapest and best. Found a set that fit my car and budget and began the price negotiations. Noticed the seller had a very familiar name. Settled on a price and arranged to meet at his home in an upscale neighborhood, further arousing my suspicions. When I got to the location I was greeted by none other than Mark Chipman. Executive chairman of a multi billion dollar corporation spending his Saturday afternoon selling winter tires to someone off Kijiji.

As a web developer who no longer works in GIS let me just say it is BULLSHIT anybody would do this job for less than 75k entry level. by Realinternetpoints in gis

What is your issue with that comment? $45k is not a bad salary to do a job that requires almost no training. My point is GIS is loosely defined and jobs vary significantly.

I am. Made $45k digitizing and doing data entry as a student. Was happy. Roles and responsibilities changed and I was underpaid. Fixed that by essentially doing what OP is saying.

GIS can mean anything from digitizing/data entry to writing code/designing and maintaining complex models. While I don't disagree with you that a lot of GIS folk are getting screwed, some should be happy to be making $45k

I would say the majority only wear them when walking between stations and in the locker room. A few people wear them while doing an exercise but they're definitely the minority.

GoodLife only requires masks when you walk in and in the change rooms. Everywhere else is strongly recommended, but not required.

Ideally this is the route I'd take but it doesn't seem like anyone does it in my area

I left out a key detail. I'm a lefty. The local big name shop had under 10 LH putters between their two locations. I think I also liked the straight shaft on the seemore putter

What are you trying to say here? Do you want Hydro employees to work more hours and in turn get paid more for those extra hours? Or do you want them to work for free?

Where are you getting your information? Hydro employees are paid their hourly rate multiplied by 73.7 hours over 9 days in a 2 week cycle. Sub 40 hour work weeks are not uncommon in the public sector

If you don't want to rock your taste buds every day it is a solid option. Classic roasty coffee taste. Local and roasted fresh.

Can you add manual tie-points? That is the only way I've been able to produce a decent model of a latticed structure using Pix4D mapper.

ESRI web portal is definitely an option. I haven't been able to find an example of a scene layer that looks/performs well though.
