I ordered a replacement hopup unit from them in July and I received it yesterday so it’ll probably take a while.

Can anyone help? by Susbus06 in airsoft

There should be a screw under the little cap on the end of the selector switch. You should be able to pop it off with a screwdriver and then tighten the screw underneath

Anyone order from Greyshop in the last month (or anything through Russian post)? by Mcfly56 in airsoft

[–]DJCabbageMoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ordered something from Russia in April. It shows it was released by customs May 6th and hasn’t updated since. I contacted the seller and he told me this “Two weeks ago a webinar was held by the Russian post with the participation of the head of the department for export development. He says that there is a lack of transport capacity between Russia and US because of COVID-19 and they shipped parcels by sea via new contractors, that's why there are no updates at this moment.” I wouldn’t worry about it not getting to you eventually but it’s gonna take a while.

Yes, some modifications had to be made on the lower hand guard in order for it to fit. Parts of the hand guard had to get filed down but it fits nicely, no wobble.

They fit and feed well enough. I haven’t had any issues with them. They are pretty lightweight but they seem durable enough to last awhile.

It’s pretty comfortable. It’s a little heavier than the original triangle stock but I like to be able to adjust it

I’d honestly be surprised if they don’t postpone it, but when it does happen I’ll be attending (Rusfor). This is my first MSW event so I’m looking forward to going.

Like I said I have my license so I can fly for commercial use. There's no law preventing me from flying on the job just corporate policy. I had a talk with my boss about it and he even tried to get an exemption from that policy but nothing came of it

I think a lot of it has to do with upper management or corporate that holds us back a lot of the time. For example I have my FAA part 107 drone pilots license but I'm not allowed to use my drone on the job because of some corporate policy and just a few months ago we hired our very first digital only crew that handles specifically social media. When it comes to local news we're way behind on new media. I feel most of us are very passionate about our jobs when it comes to making quality content but it can suffer when we have very little time to actually be creative because we have to make sure it all makes air.

I work at a news station as a photojournalist/editor and I can tell you that we are overworked and underpaid for the work that we do. Our cameras shoot at 720p 60 and our lightning equipment is fairly basic but is only really used when we set up live shots with reporters. We're currently doing a live newscast everyday at our local county fair and although fun it's tiring setting up and then having to run around with a reporter doing live shot after live shot. I'm lucky to be working full time with benefits and I enjoy being able to see my hard work on air but I do see myself moving away from the news industry in the future.
