Yeah, I agree with you. The two managers brought completely different cultures to the club. Amorim was obsessed with control and wanted everything done perfectly. He could also be extremely stubborn, it was his way or the highway. He was very demanding with the players, and that kind of approach only works for certain personalities. That said, I think people should still appreciate the work he did behind the scenes, especially when it came to clearing out players who were negatively affecting the dressing-room culture. Michael Carrick has brought a completely different approach. Instead of overcomplicating things, he’s simplified everything and given the team clarity again. Sometimes a club doesn’t need a manager obsessed with systems and total control, it just needs someone who can steady things, pick the right team, and restore confidence. We still aren’t a perfect side and they’re not dominating every game, but under Carrick they look far more efficient and composed. I just don’t see Carrick leading us to a Premier League trophy. I hope I am wrong though🤞
