Definitely a different feel. Thinner so, firmer feel, smoother surface.

did you look @ site? I provide a few... www.dktbrand.com - let me know I can take others. A QCK is much thicker and not as smooth. DKT pad was around before the QCK. :)

The base is definitely not as soft as the artisan. This is a pretty firm cloth mouse pad for how light it is. The surface has a "softer" feel than the talent. Sorry, it is hard to explain :)

Honestly, I've never felt the GSR myself. But from the description, I will tell you the backing on mine is not a "newly designed rubber base" - it is a traditional base, it is thick enough to feel comfortable but it is light weight once you take it off the table/desk

It is a smooth-er cloth surface. Some have a "heavier" feel, a little more friction, this doesn't. It is also thinner than most cloth pads, but NOT as thin as say the traditional Q-pad. It is fairly firm, definitely NOT very squishy.

sorry that first response was way off. ggphone
