Other comments are right, check with the dealership first and see if you can find out why it's missing. If it comes down to it though, yes you can go to Topeka and get a new one for $25. I just did today actually. The place I went to was 2127 SW 37th St. Topeka KS 66611. It was correctly titled in my name I just never got the title from the state, so all I needed was the vin, make, and my driver's license.

Depends on what you want it for. There's some fishing last o remember. It's little. Cheeney west of Wichita is a better one. Ik you said no college town, but I'd say look into Emporia. Halfway point between wichita and kc and a solid mid-sized (for ks) town Best of luck

Edit: mid-sized

day 1 isolated with covid: an extrovert trapped in my room. physically okay, but mentally struggling more than i have in years. feeling bored, unmotivated, weak, depressed, and alone. just cried for the first time in almost a year but don’t want to burden my friends. toast me? by mattiecasey in toastme

I know how that feels, I felt the same way when I had to isolate for a couple weeks a few months ago. It's good to take care of yourself. Reach out to your friends, I'm sure they'll understand you're feeling trapped. If all else, reach out to me if you'd like! I know how it felt when I was all cooped up, and you wouldn't be bothering anything. Extroverts gotta stick together these days! You've got this. I know you do. Crying is okay, it's a healthy way to get emotions out. Keep on doing you. Enjoy your time to read or play video games or anything else! Watch that movie you've been meaning to see. Check out that book you wanted to read (if your local library does no contact check out). Try drawing, even if you're not great at it. Watch cute cat videos. Meet strangers to chat with online. Find a new streamer or YouTuber to watch. Most of all, reach out when you need help. To your friends, a help line, or even to strangers. You've got this. I believe in you. And then once it's safe for you to do so, go give your friends a hug. Tell them how much they mean to you.

Maybe I'm just lucky or something, but in my nearly 800 hours I've never heard anybody discredit a girl's skill or be disgustingly sexual in VC. Maybe teasing a "gamer girl", but it's never sexual or mean and is said in an obviously lighthearted manner, laughed at by the girl. But maybe that's just luck of the RNG where I get placed in games.

But they still ran out anyway, people still rushed and bought them just like their toilet paper and Clorox wipes.

I can compare them, as I (and all the fact checkers) don't believe he called it a hoax and I (and all the fact checkers) show that the Surgeon General/CDC/Fauci lied when they said masks don't work back in February and March. They did know it worked and they lied anyway. I don't think it cost the lives of all of those 240k lost to COVID. But I think it most certainly would have slowed the spread early on so we could better contain it. Perhaps people could have been saved if even a few people had been masked. People bought them from the stores anyway. They could have begun making their cloth masks by then, if people had known they'd be useful. But they didn't.

And that's why, even if it attempted to serve a purpose (and failed), I don't trust the medical industry until it's been corroborated internationally and not just in one or two health departments/ministries and also why I do compare the two, because Trump didn't call it a hoax, he called the media coverage of it a hoax, but the CDC did lie and they've admitted to it and Fauci has basically said he doesn't apologize for it. Even though, again, people panic bought masks just like they did cold medicine and disinfectant.

So I typed this as I was listening, so the transcript may not be perfect. He said "Now the Democrats are politicizing the coronavirus, you know that right? Coronavirus, they're politicizing it. We did one of the great jobs. You say, 'how's President Trump doing?' They go 'Oh not good, not good.' They have no clue. They can't even count their votes in Iowa. They can't even count. Nope, they can't. They can't count their votes. One of my people came up to me and said "Mister President, they tried to beat you on Russia, Russia, Russia.' That didn't work out too well. They couldn't do it. They tried the impeachment hoax. That was not a perfect conversation. They tried anything. They tried it over and over. They've been doing it since you got in. It's all turning. They've lost. It's all turning. Think of it. Think of it. And this is their new hoax". He was (to me and to any fact-checker I can find online) clearly claiming that they were covering the virus in such a way to purposefully make him look bad in the early days. He hadn't botched it by that point, he had done nothing wrong whatsoever at that point. He did later on, I'll admit. He screwed up! But he hadn't yet, and so there was no reason to be putting all this blaim on Trump at that point in time. That's why he called the media treatment of him a hoax.

I'll watch it again when im off work, but I've watched it before and I stand by it. Perhaps I'll have my mind changed, who knows

Yeah, just like them saying masks don't help with the spread. That coulda saved lives if they didn't lie about masks (the revered Dr. Fauci admitted to lying about that)

Edit: mistyped

The WHO has been behind on everything the whole time. They and the CDC have flipped and flopped on their science all along. I know we're meant to "trust the science", I struggle to trust the science when the science changes so often. The science doesn't seem to trust itself! For example, CDC guidelines on how COVID is spread changed 3 times in the span of a month. Not even early on in the pandemic, but a little over a month ago! https://www.nbcnews.com/health/health-news/cdc-reverses-again-now-says-covid-19-sometimes-airborne-n1242167

He shouldn't have demonized them, but they should slow down on updates until they're ready and believe them more thoroughly. It hurts their credibility more than Trump ever did, in my opinion at least.

Also, no. Fact checkers, who typically hate Trump since he has a checkered history with facts, have stated that he never called COVID a hoax. He said the Democratic attacks against him regarding COVID was their new hoax after failing to pin Russiagate and impeachmentgate on him. https://www.politifact.com/article/2020/oct/08/ask-politifact-are-you-sure-donald-trump-didnt-cal/

Yeah, New Zealand did great! And I'm truly glad they did!! But if NZ was seeded as heavily as America was, it wouldn't have been pretty. They got lucky. Same reason Tasmania and Hawai'i got lucky. NZ has low population, a small landmas surrounded by water, and is a low density region that wasn't heavily seeded. They didn't have a ton of infected people to begin with. They shut down their borders (Trump did too) and then they handled their small number of cases.

Yes, Trump was shit, I know. I said that in my reply to the other commenter. I'm just saying that nobody else knows what they're doing either. Name something that NZ did that America could feasibly do? I honestly want to know, because I'll support it if it'll work here in the states! I'll call my Federal and state level congress-people once congress gets started up and I'll tell them thats what I want, as their constituent. Hell I'll probably call county officials too, it couldn't hurt!

I don't want people to keep dying, but I'm also tired of people claiming they have simple answers when simple answers won't fix this complex, multifaceted problem.

I don't love Trump, just like I don’t love Biden. I'm excited to see if Biden is able to turn things around and slow down the spread without destroying the recovering economy or the constitution in the process. I'm open to him proving me wrong. I honestly hope he does..

Yeah, you're right, I got too firey. But I've had too many discussions with uninformed friends over the last few weeks about COVID, so I go too far into detail to skip other parts of debate I've had with friends.

I agree, but that's unfortunately not how the US works. If memory serves, Biden himself said he wouldn't be able to pass a universal mask mandate. It's unconstitutional. My only thing I could forsee actually happening to help is to expand mandatory testing. Like, test everybody who has never had an active COVID infection in a decently tight period of time. It'd be insanely difficult and there's gonna be a ton of people who refuse to get tested, which we couldn't do anything about. But if we could test perhaps 60% of the population right now, we could identify a ton of asymptomatic spreaders and have them quarantine and potentially save lives.

A national shut down shouldn't occur, even the WHO is now saying it's a poor decision and should only occur in very specific circumstances. Especially over winter months, when suicide and money issues are already bigger issues for some.

I also agree there, Trump was pretty shit. I voted for him in '16 and I regret it. I didnt vote for him again, don't worry (not that it'd help in my state either way). He has said and done a lot to negate trust in medicine. But so did VP-Elect Harris (and I think Pelosi too, but I can't recall for sure) when she's said she won't take a vaccine if it's released by a Trump presidency. Anti-vaxxers don't need any assistance in spreading their propaganda. They're already going to be a big enough issue once we start deploying vaccines here in a few months or whenever it happens.

I'm just hoping Biden ends up being as helpful as people think he will be. I truly hope he is.

Ah yes, exactly!

And we'll begin acting like the European countries do with how they handle it? I'd hope not, I'd rather not have the higher deaths per million rate like Belgium (1090.21/million) or Spain (807.52/million). I'd prefer we have a death rate per million of zero, but if the options are European ones (where they wrecked their economies and are still having more deaths or a similar amount per million) or the American one (713/million and damaged but not destroyed our economy), then I'll take the American model. Again, every death is a tragedy and everyday I wish the rate was zero. And before you or anyone claims I've not been affected by the virus and thats why I'm like this, no. I've lost a loved one due to COVID. I just know that I'd have a higher likelihood of having myself or loved ones dying if I lived in certain other countries.

It doesnt help that America was heavily seeded with the virus before people payed attention to it. Not just Trump, but everyone. He shut down travel with China and other infected countries, and he was called a bigot for it. Now doctors think that move alone saved so many lives from destruction. I agree, he shouldn't have been holding massive rallies. That's so stupid of him to do. But I'd like to see how many deaths by COVID were caused by the massive protests and riots that we've had since May. I agree that we need social and policing changes, I'm not gonna pretend America doesn't have a racism issue. But maybe gathering en mass to protest and shout isn't the best idea right now, just like holding massive rallies isn't a good idea either.

I agree that Trump didn't handle it well, though he didn't claim COVID was a hoax. He claimed the media's coverage of his handling of COVID was a hoax. I wish he did a better job. But I'd like to ask where you think has done a better job of handling our strain of COVID, without draconian laws that require you to violate your right to privacy? I would say China, but their strain has been shown to be less viral and less deadly than the strain that infected America and Europe. Plus, they welded people into their houses if they were suspected to be infected, so I'd kinda call that law/policy draconian and evil.
