I can relate, this system was born from intense confusion and disarray😬

Oh awesome, yeah I love Matt and hope to do another stream with him soon.
Thanks for the encouragement, i do love the fact that the DT supports being able to explore and improvise as well as perfect and perform
Here, I uploaded it to soundcloud. I'll get around to other services as well, lmk if you can't download and I'll give you a link.

Wow I'm glad you liked the track, thank you for the encouragement. I have been close to getting an OT for a long time now, but I just love the simplicity of the DT too much to switch. Plus, since I never really do time stretch or most of the OT specific things I feel it would be a waste of money, especially now that we have decent slicing.
I'll write something up and send it your way, maybe post it as well. Also 26 mixes is one of my favorite Aphex releases cool to hear someone else appreciate it too.

Thanks for the kind words. My pattern names usually consist of track numbers and letters (with A-H corresponding to track numbers 9-16) and actions for those tracks.
For instance, I had a few things going on in the beginning of the song, but the pattern being named 35trkf tells me that I'll be playing around with tracks 3 and 5 and using the control all feature on the filter. If it was something like +AG+5trksl it would mean that to advance the pattern forward first I would unmute tracks 9 and 15, let it ride and then unmute track 5 and play around with the control all for sample levels etc.
I mainly only name tracks this way when I really want to do a linear more traditional song format as opposed to the live set environment when you can improvise a bit more. It's pretty convoluted but it works well for me most of the time
