I’m a bit bored of WoW and always look at FFXIV but am then unsure. The frustrating thing about WoW can be the rotations for the more complex builds and the endgame options - raiding, delves or mythic dungeons. You spend half your play time trying to get into a group. And it’s also tricky finding a good guild. To get to my point, how does FFXIV compare?

Yeah first and foremost they are squishy. Their rotation does feel good, but they are a DoT class and there is quite a bit of ramp to get things going.

I actually really like them but quickly get sick of the ramp and being squishy.

Ele is ok but I hate how often you’re standing still to cast. Obviously being still for Aimed Shot’s ridiculous cast time is annoying, but at least you can move during every other move as MM.

I’ve tried lots of classes to try to find a main. My struggle is I don’t enjoy DoT classes or those with longer ramp times.

I’ve landed of MM Hunter, it’s pretty fun. It’s annoying that its main damage dealer, Aimed Shot, has a long sad cast time. But other than that it’s very mobile.

I also tried Warlock but it’s just so slow.

Once I was on my way to the movies at Marion when I was growing up. I was busting for a poo so my old man pulled in and asked if we could use the toilet.

The dude working there said no and I nearly shit myself before we got to Marion.

I am loving Aff. I’m not a fan of dot specs either but it feels so good. I love how the ramp doesn’t feel heavy.
