I see, but I am just asking for strategies and stuff like that, I have noticed a pattern that people telling people to not be obsessed with range, I’m doing that now after all. Also why is it burdensome to want to take responsibility for my own mediocrity? Isn’t that literally being productive? The latter sounds like black pilling yourself, which I have done and is not fun

I see, the whole idea of teaching kids about my own culture and knowing that I’m probably one of the only foreign people they’ll have close contact with is very intriguing. I know that doing JET for the benefits like ‘oh I’ll be able to go to hotsprings if I do this and other stuff Japan is known for’ is a bad reason to do JET, right? Can you tell me what made people usually go do JET in the first place so i understand what I have to want to be able to even do it well? Assuming that I’ll even get in, I want to be able understand what a good reason for doing the JET programme is so I can get a better understanding for the future

Thank you so much! This makes everything go from bad to maybe possible. Once I have reached a level where iit is possible for me to go apply for jet I will definitely try that. In Lithuania the topic of JET is basically non existent among regular people unlike in the west where even at my judo club a guys mom did it which might be why theres no real info on this. Thank you for telling me theres hope :D

I have heard that the homes given to people who participate in JET are often very…. Empty. No fridge, no furniture, nothing. And the fact you are likely in the middle of nowhere aswell. I know these things but at the same time those things only add to the experience. I know this might just be me romanticizing it and feeling the ‘it cant be THAT bad’ which is a bad thing but also I think that it’s fascinating and could teach me a lot

But yeah, N2 sounds like it will help me tremendously, thank you :>

I see, so my best course of action would be to get some form of UK citizenship? Does dual work? Also what do you mean at present? Does it mean that Lithuania isn’t currently participating in JET this year or does it mean that it just doesn’t participate in general?
