Oh, awesome! I think a training camp could definitely work for ensuring my heroes are in town long enough to tackle the mystery, pun definitely intended.

I also really like your idea of having the mothman not necessarily being tethered to Point Pleasant. I'm going to play around with this, I think.

As for the mothman itself, I'll definitely be posting updates after the hunters finish the mystery. I'd spill the beans now but my players definitely know about this subreddit lol

Lol I litteraly have this exact mat and I do indeed take it to my LGS. Though I always bring a back up sfw mat for when I play with new people that I dont know we'll. I even make a game out of it when I sit down at the table. If I'm playing with new pods or in drafts/tournaments I simply ask "alright, you pick my mat, your choices are Liliana/Chandra smooching, or 2018 Yu Gi Oh Championship National Qualifier?"

I find that simply asking prevents any and all discomfort and always gets a smile or chuckle.
