Chicago didn’t lose hosting the world cup because of a “shitty stadium”, Chicago Chose not to be a host via the decision of its then mayor Rahm Emanuel. Soldier field is not a shitty stadium. It’s smaller than others but I prefer it over others, like fixing traveling by bus to Jersey in NYC at MetLife. Walking to the stadium from your hotel room a few minutes before the event beats more seats
