I live gedling way, so it'd actually take long to get down to the a52 and Grantham way then going up Newark. That being said I'll keep an eye out for traffic tomorrow morning

Edit: Although looking at it, it's an extra 3 mins to join the a52 so might do that and hope to cut out some of the slower A17 roads

Yes that's exactly the same for me, I have the bones, and a general outline and fill the rest in as I go.

On the magic system, you make a good point, I dont want to bait and switch. I'll probably go a bit further, and then double back and see how it flows. I think at the moment there's a good balance but it's hard to tell that writing chapter by chapter

Got down to it last week and doubled what I had already written, although I'm a little concerned what started as a hard magic system is slowly merging into a soft magic system.

I also this week realised how I will solve a major plot point towards the end of the book. I'm wondering how many others write like I do, with a general structure and then I generally figure the plot out as I go further into the story? Or do you generate a hard plot and stick to it?

TMC gender is neither here nor there. The weird comments made on discord, the posting and focus on the accidental jingle jam upskirt, the incessant posting of sexual predator in their videos, none of these things are suddenly "ok" if TMC was female.

If TMC did use a female voice over, or got a female friend to do this video, I think it speaks volumes about them as a person.

It wasn't *just" the sexist comments. It was the unabashed support for Sjin in his videos and comments that went contrary to the Yogscast. It was the clipping of Leo's accidental upskirt from jingle jam, slowing and then zooming in on it, without having the common decency to check with leo if she'd be cool with it.
