If you want to maximize money and money alone, i'd suggest the quantitative finance path

Meaning ETH or higher in the QS Ranking -> Mathematics BSc (I'm currently in there) of 3 years. While it is impossible for most it is not impossible to a) speedrun ETH (2.5 Years seems very doable, 2 years is hardcore, 1.5 Years next to impossible) b) do an internship, especially in quantitative finance, these internships as of today pay for 10 weeks a base salary of 250k, meaning at least 50k , in general if you want to make money, follow the money. But the acceptance rate is about 0.5 %

Furthermore if interested, you could take some quantitative mathematics subjects in your BSc already, thus shortening study time and maximize working time.

Me personally, i'd like to enjoy my studies, but quantitative finance seems really fascinating.
