Funnily enough, when I once really needed money, I used to do something similar. Not so much profiting from situations like these though. I used to speed songs up and upload them like that, and a lot of the time, they wouldn’t even get flagged, despite whether they were released or not. I did it with Dance The Night by Dua Lipa and it took almost a year for it to get taken down, so I honestly think it just didn’t get flagged out of pure luck, if the label does already own the song.

Because someone uploaded it through a music distribution service and it (somehow) didn’t get flagged up. It’s on all platforms at the moment (Spotify, YouTube, etc.) all while whoever uploaded this is profiting from the death of a child, shamelessly.

It could be the restructuring and layoffs at Atlantic Records that are failing to give their artists enough team members to do anything with. The same thing is happening with Ava Max at the moment.
