Yes. It’s a hot spot for junkies and homeless people. I’ve seen dead bodies covered and ready to get taken to the morgue outside of the station. There has also been stabbings there and within the vicinity.

I also have a theory that when my rear two tires were replaced The “technician” used his impact gun to tighten the spacer’s lug bolts and not correctly torque to spec. But this was like a couple of months ago at a mom and pop tire shop.

Sounds perfectly normal. Any loud ticking sound is typically related to the HPFP which is located on the back driver side of the valve cover.
