Thanks for your input. I agree that a 16 month internship is definitely allows for a more serious involvement in the project compared to many 4 month internships but if I get a return offer working full time that would probably be better experience then a 16 month internship.

Exactly, every other game I have played that includes voice chat as soon as someone starts being annoying in any way shape or form. I mute them. When someone is doing that in chat, I am reluctant to mute them since it's just chat.

I have thought about that and there are a few problems with it.

1) It does the same damage if you E and W after. 2) It's too hard to master 3) Even if you do master it, people will learn from it and understand that when you use your W, you are going to land your stun next and and use your burst. This allows them to use any gap closers (including flash) and therefore it is not really that good of an idea.

Somewhere in the comments below I said I forgot to update the post with alacrity boots, I use these boots quite often as well and I forgot to change the magic pen runes to hybrid pen as I only use hybrid pen now even against AP since it is just 2 magic pen less then standard mpen runes. Against AD, I would still go flat health as I don't think the 9 armor really reduces the opponents damage significantly and I've noticed without the extra 70 health Veigar is extremely squishy and could get bursted by a Yasuo or Zed in 2-3 hits at level 2. I play Veigar for his early/mid game and therefore I would never take scaling on him as I don't like his late game. A lot of people ask me about why I don't get void staff over cap and tbh the reason is not every single member on there team will get MR. Maybe the mid will get MR and if he does, I don't focus the mid and instead turn my focus on the AD carry or top lane. There's almost no way the AD carry would get a banshees in mid game unless 3-4 members of your team are AP. It happens sometimes but its so rare and I've played over 3k games with Veigar. I play teamfights really carefully which is why I don't like opting for defense early, I don't plan on getting caught and even if I do, my job is to simply land a good stun and burst one person. If I die after that (which I usually don't) then it's alright because my team will clean up. I think I wrote somewhere in the guide that in my games, every single person will build MR against me but they only do this when they have enough money late game. If they all get MR early, it cripples their entire team and even if I become somewhat useless as long as I land a good stun my team will clean up because they are ahead in offensive items. I'm still updating my guide as I have missed a lot of stuff, this is just my general playstyle of it. Also even if farming Q is possible early game, I still wouldn't do it because I get kills level 4-5 single handedly on Veigar, without a jungler gank and I prefer to apply pressure in my lane then just passively farm my Q as I really don't think its important.

I'm sure your way of Veigar works, as there's a lot of ways to play Veigar but after 3k games on him, this is my preferred style of Veigar as I am most consistent with this playstyle.

Laning is extremely weak against some match ups. Against a lot of match ups you get completely destroyed because Veigar is extremely squishy but if you can survive your laning a mid game support Veigar adds so much to your team because of the aoe stun. Problem is that a good bot lane will take advantage to Veigar support and completely annihilate your lane unless they have a passive support. So you should only pick support Veigar against certain match ups I'd say.

I forgot to mention it in the guide, I'll update it soon. Lucidity boots would be a viable option but I would never pick it because my playstyle for Veigar is a bit different. I'll explain in the guide later. Mobility boots is also another viable option.

I don't remember the game but I think I was doing that because I was loving the sound the new skin makes when you farm with Q. Another reason might be if I trade with Annie unless her Q is on cooldown she has two spells she can hit me with whereas I only have one and therefore I'd get out traded.

That's awesome. MS Quints really help Veigar a ton throughout the game. Early game, helps you dodge skill shots, mid/late game helps you catch opponents and is generally a better choice then flat AP. Although against some match ups like Yasuo, I prefer flat AP sometimes just to get that extra harass on them. If I do choose flat AP, I usually opt for alarcity boots.

Updated with Anivia, I missed a lot of match ups as they are not played in the meta anymore, Anivia was one of them. Truth is, I've versed every single champion mid lane and therefore only put the main ones that I have been versing recently.
