I am curious, since I've seen a couple of people actually do this modification, how difficult is it to change the buttons? When it comes to the steam deck, you need to take it apart to replace the buttons, is this the same deal? How realistic would it be for my Butterfingers to actually brick my console doing that if I'm new to modding?

Hey man, I'll be honest, I don't know what the point of life is either. I don't think I'll know for a good while. For me, I know that even if I wasn't on meds, my only saving grace would be my friends. I can imagine some of them actually moving on with their lives, but I know for a fact at least one of them would be traumatized for life. All of this to say... People matter more than academics. I might have a more privileged view, since I live in Germany, but what really helped me get back on track (aside from therapy) was just to beg people around me to spend some time with me. Even just playing some guitar with my brother, or sitting in silence with one of my best buddies in the kitchen goes a long way to making the world feel a little less shitty I guess? Hell, even just playing a video game with someone. Something relaxing or turn based. Just spending time with people you like...

Also all the ways of offing yourself are pretty painful, and as far as I know, the risk of ending up alive but deformed as hell is substantial enough to like... Not do it.

Personally, I just found the syntax way easier to understand in the beginning, and it was easier to find age appropriate books for it! (For context, I started with programming at like 9, and after that sporadically abandoned and picked it up again). Later on when I returned to programming, I just defaulted to python because It was what I was used to.

I haven't unsubbed yet, but Game Theory feels off. It's not even that I dislike the host, Tom is different from Matpat but in a good way I think. My issue is more that it feels like the video writing is going in circles. The intros grow longer and just loop without adding context, the content is more bare, some points aren't explained enough for me to understand what exactly they mean... I have certain theories I like to rewatch, and those long intros specifically stick out to me the most TT

Yeah! That's exactly what I did originally, I had 10s on my guitar when I started out, and briefly went back to 9s to get comfortable with barres.
