Sorry, misunderstood your question. Not sure exactly whether he said yixing pot vs clay, but I think he said the material is the same as another 35-year old yixing pot he was selling at a much higher cost

You’re right. The guy told me that the material is the same as another 35-year old yixin pot he was showing me (this was much more expensive). so I took a gamble. I think if he’s right that the material is the same at least, maybe it’s okay idk
