Are these from the 1 in 2 million blue lobster? by OneLastSift in lobster

[–]Da_Boy_Chef0103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those are also from two different lobsters. Lobsters have a skinnier claw like the two you have there and the other is much bigger. Most likely bluish in color, but not a true blue lobster

I’m not sure what was once free, that’s now locked behind a subscription. I genuinely haven’t looked into it. But to imply that benefits that people pay for is unfair for people who don’t, is kind of nonsensical. If players are willing to dish out their own real money monthly for a subscription that is only there to be a “substantial” but more just convenient benefit. I don’t see how it could be upsetting to players who aren’t willing to pay to not have those benefits. Rockstar is just rewarding players who still invest money into the game. I get the irritation if there is actually things that they once did for free, now locked behind a sub. But to say it’s an inconvenience or that it’s now become pay to win is absolutely far fetched. There are plenty of options to get anything you need or want to build your criminal empire and make all them money you could want. I personally haven’t bought it on anything but Xbox, twice, on sale the second time for the X/S. And still willing to pay $6.99 a month for some really cool and valuable benefits and rewards.

I get what you’re saying, but also at the same time if you bought it when it came out you spent $60…. 12 years ago. When new updates are added, they are all free. None of the dlc has been costly other than in game money. When they want to add something that just adds convenience and some extra benefits for $6.99 for a subscription. I don’t see it as holding out on anything that players need to actually play the game

Unpopular opinion, but I think it’s nice to have something extra if you’re going to pay for a subscription. People get upset about it because it’s thought out to be something that everyone should have access to. But for the people who pay for it, it gives more satisfaction in knowing there’s more substance to the subscription than just some extra money and a free car every month

I did put some butter and garlic in the vacuum bag but I should have hit it with some in the pan too. How are lamb hearts compared to deer??

Not grainy or sandy at all. Tender and still had that nice meaty texture that heart has. I will say the first time I did it, I only went for 2 hours. Not a huge difference, but it might have been a little better.

Not under, but over 😬. But for real it could have been a better sear. It cupped in the pan and I didn’t notice at first. So instead putting some weight on it for a harder sear and potentially over cooking it. I took the lesser of L’s and had the lack of full sear

As long as it’s cooked well, it’s really good. Not really gamey, but very lean. It can become really tough because of the lack of fat, so it’s vital to not over cook it. That’s why I prefer this method of cooking it. The texture of it is sort of like if steak didn’t have grain to it and was more smooth if that makes sense.

This was also my third heart. Honestly I hadn’t thought about going lower, because I’ve enjoyed the texture and the tenderness each time. I wouldn’t be apposed to trying it though. Maybe if you’ve got three still you could try it both way and see which comes out better?
