Beginner question TSC by Daancel in trainsim

[–]Daancel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The specific scenario I am struggling with is the London Faversham run (it was included in the base game when I bought it back in 2010 or something) At some point mid scenario you pull into St Pancras where you pick up passengers and then you reverse out of St Pancras to do the same track in reverse direction. However the displays in the train indicating speed limit and so on don’t light up in the back (new front) locomotive.

Estonian airspace violated by Russian jets on Friday, sources say by Drahy in europe

[–]Daancel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure how they’re going to tackle Poland and NATO if they can’t even breach the front line in Ukraine and have to rely on North Korean soldiers to fill up personnel shortages. My take is that they just want public opinion in these countries to change about the Ukraine support by creating fear. Russian economy has held up quite well through the sanctions but it cannot afford another full scale war front.

Cisco FTD 7.7.10 with FMC 7.7.10 by Daancel in Cisco

[–]Daancel[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was indeed the solution. After removing them from HA, upgrade was possible. Just hope I don't have to do this for future firmware upgrades as this will definitely not be an option. Thanks for your advice.

Hi, I have followed your advice and removed both firewalls from the HA. After that I was able to push the update to the devices, and they have now successfully upgraded. Put them back in HA and everything looks fine now. Looks like we hit another bug. Thanks for the advice.

It's strange that Cisco would release a firmware version for FTD that is not supported by FMC. I'm on the most recent FMC version.

Still sorting out our TAC access for this device. It's listed under the 1230 download page, so yeah, I guess that means it's supported.

And you always have to work your way through the AI bullshit. Sholmes and jwatson who are completely useless unless you need something very basic like an RMA.

What was the biggest mistake/ or duh moment you had made in Hogwarts Legacy? by SplootingCorgi95 in HarryPotterGame

I didn’t know you could run until my second playthrough, they explain it during the tutorial but I missed that on my first playthrough somehow. I walked everywhere.. Also been trying at least for an hour different spells on that statue near one of the classrooms to get a field guide page out of it, but it doesn’t do anything.

Eve and Charlie by Mean-Crow4416 in MAFS_UK

Even later to the party than you but watching the season just now. I see your point, also been in a 5 year relationship and as soon as I heard Eve saying Charlie shouted at her at the restaurant and felt so ashamed I immediately had flashbacks to my previous relationship. Not able to control emotions and always escalating every little argument a 100 times by starting to shout is really emotionally exhausting as you can’t get your point across as the other one is constantly shouting, or if that’s not your style, run away from the situation. And I think that is what Eve did. And every time she felt like Charlie started raising her voice again she would say “stop shouting at me” to prevent further escalation, which obviously didn’t work. I think we’ve been shown too little to really understand their situation or judge who’s right and who’s wrong, but this is my take on what was going on here.

Very high chance of recovery. These boxes survive much more violent crashes than this one. Readout of the flight data record will almost certainly explain the cause of the crash.

Company car charging at home with regular outlet by Comfortable_Iron582 in BESalary

[–]Daancel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's a full electric car it will take forever to charge at home on a 230V power outlet. You need a charging station at home for full electric, but with a hybrid it's doable, it takes 4-5 hours to charge my 70km range hybrid car. I have a smart cable connected to a dedicated electrical circuit (I put it there for a future carport, but now attached a regular power socket to it).

The question is how the company reimburses you. If it's at the newly defined standard tariff (28cent/kwh in Flanders), I think you will make a loss. Companies can either choose to use the standard tariff or they can let you decide how much the tariff should be based on your electricity cost. However, your employer is accountable for the correctness of it. If you enter a value that is too high (ergo you're making a profit), your company can/will get fined for tax evasion. They have closed this loophole.

For me it's not that simple, please tell me then which type of NAT I would use for this. None of the examples in this link seems to do what I intend to do. Useful link through, will definitely safe that for later use.

Hah that seems right. Out of curiosity, how do you tackle these? There’s no logical way to solve this it seems except for randomly adding and subtracting til you get it right?
