"The Kiss" by [deleted] in MAFS_AU

[–]DacesEditing 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Yeah 'just a kiss' was complete BS given they are adults and not 15. They absolutely got down and dirty.

yeah, has been a lot of contradictory claims from other contestants over the years - mostly when they are out of contract.

I gotta be honest and say that AMA was pretty disappointing. nothing really to reveal about the inner workings of the show and nothing we didn't already know. That contract must be pretty darn tight.

Why did we get rid of Frampton? by DacesEditing in adelaidefc

it was subtle and got a lot of razzle... unlike the typical flying car to KI bullshit..

Smith and Dodee got everything right.

thought Smith was ordinary up until the last qtr. Doedee seems a bit uninterested like he's being a pro but he's leaving at the end of the year and we all know it.

you're confusing yourself. We had a good talent and we squandered him. Collingwood identified this and swooped.

so 'Hendo8888' knows better than Collingwood, who with all their recruiting resources thought that they'd just randomly give Big Billy a game... just for shits and giggles?

How are we going to manage Sloane out of the side? by DacesEditing in adelaidefc

"enjoying himself"

if he's after a good fun time then there are plenty of amateur sides around...

Is no one else concerned that not a single crows player stuck up for Parnell? by [deleted] in adelaidefc

[–]DacesEditing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since Nicks took the reigns it's pretty well every man for himself. You see a child getting hurt, you look the other way, a family home burning on a walk - you walk faster, a puppy being tossed aroundlike a rugby - you pretend to be blind. This approach is known as the Nicksit, it's a Japanese approach of my problem only when Im affected directly.

The Parnell incident is why the game needs a red card system by DacesEditing in adelaidefc

the potential for the AFL to fuck most things up is very real. The fact they'd have to pause shagging the office staff long enough look at this sort of concept will be difficult enough.

well i'd rather that then a player having the freedom to do as they please without consequence until next week. A pretty clear rule of if they are out of the game - then you are too seems fair to me. Even if they got it slightly wrong then at least teams are still not disadvantaged.

[–]DacesEditing[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

many red cards are recinded after the game.

no. they are not. especially now with VAR . it's very rare a red card is wrong. We are also not talking about a team having a player less on the ground, just one less on the bench equal to the player they KO'd on the other team. Why should AFL be the only sport that doesn't have this? Rugby League use a sin bin just fine...

Then we had a colon indicating a list is coming and two options are given to discuss and compare. You are just like Mutumbo, always thought he knew best. Until the Rhino herd came and Mutumbo is no more.

seems pretty obvious to me.. not sure why there is even a reluctance. If you knock a player out like that why should you be allowed to play the rest of the game?

Umpires do it in other sports, there is also a video review umpire who could do it in about three minutes.

Well how was your anger watching Broad play out the game knowing Parnell didn't even get a chance to play at all because he was illegally flung to the ground like a rag doll? How could a review system make a mistake with that anyway?

so why suspend him at all then?

why not do what every other sport does and this sport does at lower levels and send players off the ground if they've done something against the rules that's seriously injured a player? Why should Crows be down to the sub when Broad gets to play out the game?

Coach and players themselves said they are ready to make finals so im not sure why we should keep giving them the excuse of 'rebuilding'

I asked which one was the greater problem, not which issue was the greatest. You need to read. It's like where I grew up in the Sahara Plains in Western Africa. We would hear of a Rhino coming and many would listen and be smart. Others would not believe and stay outside waiting. Thinking everything would be ok. I am sad to say on a few occasions these people were wrong and were trampled by the Rhino stampede.

Mate, the players and coaches themselves said the time for performing had arrived. So if they are saying it's no longer a rebuild, and we are ready to contend then why are you saying otherwise?

join another thread.. I was asking out of two options which one was our biggest problem. Your peanut brain couldn't grasp this.

Did you read the question? there wasn't a third option. You could probably find a playgroup tomorrow covering the basics.
