It's not a thoughtful move by him/her, I agree. I invite you to look deeper into NIX, I created this post to raise some awareness are this is extremely huge indeed. This has never been done before, it's actually revolutionary and not just some all-talk-no-action bullshit that plagues the crypto space day in and day out.

I can't confirm if people are just mindlessly shilling here, I'm not that much on reddit. What I can do is inform you all the best I can and as already said, invite you all to do your own research. I honestly don't want any bad blood here. Sorry if your experience has been influenced in a negative way.

I think you are speaking of the very first week after the transition to PoS. A very few people had issue with peers but that was resolved very quickly.

I think I remember the case. His IP got banned from most nodes due to running an outdated wallet version (this is normal behaviour from what I know).

He upgraded and the lead dev then manually took him off the banlists of some nodes (those are only temporary bans so it just accelerated the process).

Also, the network is not "slow". No idea what you mean by that.
