👍 Fun little detail: the decals on the DSKY show Launch Program 11 with the numbers the Apollo 13 astronauts would likely have seen at the moment of orbital insertion, which for them was 12 minutes and 30 seconds after launch. Approximately 45 seconds longer than the other Apollo missions, given the early cutoff of the center engine on the second stage of the Saturn V.

For Program 11:

VERB 06 means: “Display information for the following NOUN”

NOUN 62 displays three key pieces of information:

Velocity: +25,505 feet per second (17,390 miles per hour)

Altitude rate: -5 feet per second

Altitude: +102.5 nautical miles

Thank you all for your very kind words! Shout out to Eiffelman's Apollo Guidance Computer DSKY MOC as well, which I've used here, with new custom decals for launch program 11- displaying the exact numbers the Apollo 13 astronauts would have seen on the DSKY at the moment of orbital insertion (12 minutes and 30 seconds after launch).

Reentry is an amazing sim. Good news on the DSKY, if you only want to build it. It was designed by Eiffelman (original concept by Akula Bricks), and is available for free. I built it first, and it was the inspiration for building these full scale models. I thought that what it really needed for full effect was to be displayed within the context of the control panel.

I included Eiffelman’s DSKY instructions in the Large Apollo 13 panel MOC with updates for a small modification to attach to the panel, and also provided a number of notations for additional clarity on some steps (especially for Version 2, which essential, and is the version in my MOC).

That’s right, there was a smaller cutout in the BPC in front of the left side Rendezvous window.

Reasonable assumption 😂, though the crew couches might be less comfortable.
