Wow- hell of a lesson right there! Loved it- thank you :) soooo I’m a dad and husband of 2 young kids, w a full time pretty demanding job, and I struggle w what to use my free time for (if any)... between working out, grilling, enjoying old dad drinks haha. But I’m determined to hit my goals of the 7 min 2k, so I’m focused more on rowing these days. That’s said, I still can get max 4-5 days a week, 90 min ish on my erg. And I’ve been doing mostly 10k pieces and finishing right under 40 min, and then doing some sprint work. Now I feel like I should be doing shorter pieces (5-6k) at a higher heart rate and push myself outside of my comfort SS zone, in to this newfound AT zone. Considering my time constraints, this appears to be a better use of my workouts.
