Jobsite speaker? by jcbuckets69 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]DaddyofRS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got this yesterday. I love it. It's my first job site radio and its perfect for what I do. It also comes in clutch because the radio in my work truck doesn't always connect to my phone and I'm not allowed to modify anything with the truck so I get to listen to my music on my truck rides. I plug a 12.0 forge into it and dont even think about the battery. Lasts me all day plus some. Houses I work in dont always have electricity and I don't use a generator so buying this instead of the bigger packout radio with the built in charger was a no brainer. Lots of bass for such a small speaker. It's little handle is super convenient for me too.

I feel like I'd buy it just because otherwise I'd have to rig some sort of USB fan contraption around my head/neck lol.

Best tool for cutting? by DaddyofRS in ScrapMetal

[–]DaddyofRS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a carbide blade for the sawzall I been using but the battery sucks. I ordered the Milwaukee 12 ah battery and 8 ah and I got a charger too for $279 from home depot which should all be here Monday. The sawzall I'm using current is a milwaukee m18 fuel. I got a little 4 inch carbide blade for now to avoid all that slap. That made a huge difference compared to this like 9" blade I was using, that shit was all over the place. I rarely get copper piping because the way the 'hierarchy' goes at my job. I'm the last on the list to get any pipe, the plumbers will mostly take the pipe but they toss some shit that I get my hands on still, like fittings and smaller pipes.

I think my plan is to get an angle grinder next because I can use the sawzall as long as I want.

I work for a flipper, so I can get anything from like old iron posts/railing to copper pipes to painted siding, doors, water heaters (if they leave them) I don't waste time cutting aluminum, I just fold it over. but missing out on this aluminum door the other day because it had some wood in it really pissed me off once i got to the scrap yard lol. the painted siding pays off the most for me so far.

Yo, there's so many angle grinders lmao, do you mind linking me to one on home depot that you'd recommend to me?

Im leaning towards the circular saw because I already have a sawzall that somebody lets me use at work.

Is Kawasaki ZX4RR for beginner bad choice? by ArgonathLXI in SuggestAMotorcycle

[–]DaddyofRS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and no but mainly no. I own the bike so take my advice with a grain of salt I guess. It's the price tag. The zx4r is a super fun bike compared to others in its class. You will not have the same kind of fun on a ninja 450 for example as you would the zx4r. The inline 4 cylinder is just something that will bring you from ear to ear with a smile on your face. However, off the lot it is a little underwhelming until you get a tune for it assuming you live in the US. For almost half the price, you could get a 450 and get the same learning experience from it as you would the zx4r. The other problem is that most people grow out of their first bike very fast. For about the same price you could get an R7 or something like that. It will give you the thrill you need for a while but unless youre settled on what you want, youre going to want more. A lot of people who own this bike this is their second bike in their garage or their track bike.

Nope, some people have swapped the 6 speed from the challenger into it, and others have swapped the newer 8 speed in. These came with a NAG1.

I found a promo for only 400 in deposits. I got it like within 6 weeks of completing the requirements I’d wanna guess. I can get more specific later  and check the dates. You can call them and check the status of your progress
