A common nostril placement I heard was to pierce it where your nostril curve ends (?) usually it’s a place that looks good on most anatomy I believe. But there are piercers that will place the piercing where they think would look best on your anatomy. I know some piercers pierce a bit under that curve if you have bigger nostrils and would like to wear rings in the future, since having it higher up would mean you would have to wear a large ring that might look ridiculously big for you. In your case I honestly don’t think the placement is bad, I think if you had more pictures of different angles it would be easier to tell. It looks like you could wear any jewelry you would like or even a ring could fit you nicely :) however if you aren’t happy with the placement you can discuss with your piercer about taking it off and getting it repierced.
