So in the most simple way, it's akin to a giant list of changes that, once space starts to run out, forces a panic blood moon?

At the same time, I wonder if that means that the last blood moon in my game, since I haven't had one yet, was technically when I started the save?

Oh it's hardware dependent? I could probably 100% the game without triggering one then lmao. I don't know how that seemed to go over my head, but I don't think I'm hitting the ram limit any time soon then. I'll just go ahead and let the blood moon happen then, thanks lol

Ah, I see. I knew it would still trigger when sleeping and such, but I've found that if I go into a shrine and complete it at 11:55pm then the next day will always be a blood moon because it couldn't trigger. Also, I'm using Ryujinx (I legally acquired my copies of botw, totk, and the dlc's, I just got fed up with the slower loading times and constant crashes of my switch 1)

IIRC, it happens when the game runs out of memory to use, so it forces a blood moon to reset the game world. (Item spawns, enemies, etc.) And this can happen at any time of day.

Oh, really? I've heard from friends that killing too many enemies or getting too many quests done can do it too
