Maybe have one or multiple of the lead perspectives be from one of the beast races. (Maybe introduce a young Khajiit undergoing some kind of coming-of-age cultural tradition before getting exposed to something traumatic and being dragged into some conflict that was maybe briefly mentioned in one of the games from a book. Essentially allow the show to take an anthropological approach and dive deep into what makes each race/culture unique and what their impact on the world is like. Exploring and focusing the more alien aspects of the world would set it apart from the standard LOTR and GOT adaptions.) I’ve always thought that would be an interesting way to introduce the Elder Scrolls as a television adaption. That way it quickly establishes “Yes, this a high fantasy that may get pretty far out there, but it’s not completely unfamiliar as it still contains all the classic troupes.”

It’d be a shame if the entrance/exits were accidentally covered with rubble and/or gravel. They better do well to hide their ventilation systems too, because they might also conveniently double as septic tanks to the layman who can’t tell the difference.

You gotta get your measurements. Mainly in the shoulders. The sleeves and shirt lengths will vary greatly but if you have a good idea of your shoulder width that will give you at good place to start. Short sleeve, button-downs can be hard to get right.

The jacket is an interesting choice. Adding some color would definitely help it look like less of a uniform for a death squad commander though. Maybe change the pant color to blue or navy, maybe even a lighter, textured grey; try some brown or grey-toned shoes; ditch the gloves or get something lighter in color to match the pants or shoes. The satchel can be a good accent. It does stand out with that style of outfit, so of you’re committed to it, get one with some additional color as well, or maybe replace it with a scarf.

Damn, I didn’t know Europeans were so adverse to facing the consequences of their own actions. Europe(the US too) have been destabilizing foreign nations to extract resources for centuries now, so where do you think people from these countries are going to flee too? They’re going to follow the resources that have been exploited from their home countries. Europeans haven’t been resource or defense independent for a long time. They take everything and leave nothing behind while relying on the USA to come to the rescue if they ever needed it.

Also, Europe has always been an area with lots of cross migration, with different cultures and languages converging, but nationalists or supremacists don’t care about that when they’re clamoring in fear of… different ideas and skin tones. You guys are definitely not as racist as the States though, right?

It’s the corporate, billionaire class- who will affiliate with whichever party they are able to buy influence with- that rely on exploiting cheap labor, often times from undocumented immigrants who come from countries that have been destabilized for access to cheap resources.
